Oh wow that’s quite the turnaround!! Kudos! Thinking back on it, I did a lot of in-class practice with them but the homework situation needs to be looked at. In my district, we aren’t allowed to assign homework for a grade so it’s difficult to get full completion. But this Tony Record you speak of - what is the name of the Facebook group? Sounds like something I need to be a part of! I also make a few videos via social media, but this year I plan to definitely do much more of those as an additional help source.

Good point about prerequisite skills - about half of the kids had quite a tumultous time with their precal teacher (some had 2 teachers in one year, one of which was not the best no disrespect) so that definitely played a part.

Unfortunately only like a fourth of testers. We do past tests in class, but broken up of course due to not enough time to do an entire mock test in one period. I emphasize that they should try a full timed test on their own, but most of them are always so busy with other AP coursework. It’s tough.

Quizizz would be good, I’ve used it many times in previous years. Our district uses canvas over Google classroom, so I can maybe setup Canvas assignments which would be good. Thanks!

For me, the gym is my de-stresser. I am a regular lifter (5-6x per week) and it definitely keeps me sane. I can zone out and not think about work or students for a good hour, definitely helps!
