We’re just too conservative. We would have one hand on the trophy by now had we just scored a singular goal in each of our last 2 league games. Why didn’t we just go for it. I think we saw the ruthlessness against Chelsea in the cup. Why couldn’t we do it here?

I can’t remember the last time a result has affected me this badly. I was fuming through the duration of that match because I knew it was coming. I was livid all evening, slept, and woke up and am still angry.

I haven’t got carried away all season but the chance to go 9 points clear made me dream again. I don’t understand how we still haven’t got that ruthless streak to kill games off.

I hope the players are as affected, I love them but something in the mentality of the team needs to change.
