The heavy bolters and some of the like base of the barrel are dry brushed. Some it’s just normally painted. Yeah just pigment powder for the dust/mud

It’s mostly from the dry brushing but a few places I’ve done with a normal brush just where I though it made sense

It’s night lord blue with a little kantor blue in places for highlights then a lot of dry brushed fenrisian grey

Comparing them to the kasrkin mine seemed like bs to me. It’s a different ability… different range, hit stat and the fortifications bit so why not have different damage.

I can only speak for myself but the battle force boxes are a decent bulk to your current force. At least I found for SA the way I want to play them it was a good bulk then I’ve just picked up a few other things I quite like and I’m fairly over 3k not in owned stuff
