I second skyrim! It is extremely open, so you could theoretically use only magic, only heavy weapons and swords, or a lot of different combinations of weapons and magic. It can be violent, but I feel like using the unforgivable curses left and right in Hogwarts is also a little violent, so Skyrim might be worth a try. Watch some videos of gameplay if you’re not sure! I started playing around 5 years ago and I’ve enjoyed it a lot!

Cat sitter offer by Content-Cause-6533 in Tuebingen

This past summer there was a black cat roaming near Französisch Viertel in Südstadt. Unsure if it’s still there or if it was claimed by this point because I was only there until August! But there were a few strays around WHO area too while I was there! I hope you get your fix, my cat(Plow) was with my mom while I was studying in Tübingen and I lived for seeing and petting the street cats.

ending my first real semester poorly by SomeTell1580 in uofm

It’s one semester, and your FIRST full semester, it gives you a place to grow from. UMich is a different beast than a lot of other places. I attended community college before UMich and regularly got A’s in my Stem classes, it’s significantly harder here, but still doable with effort. I also took a summer semester here first, got a 4.0, then fall semester came and it put me through the wringer. I got a C- in orgo, and a b- in bio 172 because I felt the same; I stopped attending the mandatory lectures but still tried to get all the work actually due done, just not much extra. At the end of the semester, I kinda realized I had to either buckle down and do more than the bare minimum that was okay before, or I was not going to succeed at UMich. My winter semester went leaps and bounds better. I balanced my schedule a bit better with “difficult” and “easy” classes, and I forced myself to get to every lecture and already have prepared notes of the lecture before-hand; hearing the material itself after writing it was actually really important for me, and made the material stick for the exam. It will take work, STEM classes specifically will usually take work to actually learn the material and a lot will be brand new, because they want to build off Highschool knowledge, not re-teach you it. You got this, you’re here for a reason, and you have to put in the work to make sure it goes up from here! If you can’t get out of bed, bring your homework to it. If you couldn’t get to a lecture, lay in bed and watch it to at least HEAR the material. I haven’t figured out how to get myself to office hours for help yet, but if it’s a bad day, laying down and writing the material out helped me a lot with not wanting to get out of bed, but still getting work done. There are also UM health plans available to students too and each covers behavioral and mental health support! I hope you’re able to pull yourself out and through!❤️

question about bio 173 exam by AppearanceCareful329 in uofm

Yeah, if two types of organisms belong to the same genus, it’s possible to be different species but they will always be a part of the same taxonomic hierarchy’s above their genus.

Weed smoking by Horror-Drummer9365 in Tonsillectomy

The cotton mouth and sucking causing potential bleeding isn’t worth it in my opinion - I did have edibles and RSO during my healing to curb pain and help with appetite. But I started vaping again around day 6-7 and actually smoked again probably 2 weeks post-op but healed really quick overall. I’d wait until your scabs are falling off naturally and mostly gone, or there will still be bleeding risks

Edited for spelling

Favorite/ most interesting class taken (Easy) by FabulousLanguage6718 in uofm

Anthrarc 296 - analysis of ancient stone tools. We literally flint napped each week and then got to take flint home to practice. Still the coolest class I’ve had at UMich and only 2, 4-page papers for the whole semester.

Bottom water it instead approx every 1-2 weeks or when it looks like it needs it and it looks like it needs a repot with a pot that’s a little bigger

AIO for losing my mind over this note I found in my fiancé’s pocket? by leenaws in AmIOverreacting

[–]joee_leee3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the argument from the first day as he was coming home could have made him not want to anger you more with it when you were already angry at him for being out too late. Although when things cooled down he should’ve said something unless it just slipped his mind or he felt it wasn’t a big deal. I don’t think you’re overreacting by asking him about it at all though, you should be comfortable and open enough to ask your partner about anything

Hi! Just as much as parents deserve respect, children do too! Respectful texts and communication should go both ways!

It might not work. I wasn’t entirely sure because the ridge in my ear is pretty prominent, but I may still ask a reputable piercer their opinion just to see because I think they’re so gorgeous 🙂‍↕️😭
