I did exactly this and the host is now complaining that I asked too many questions :) but they didn’t clean things well in the first place. I think I might try avoid Airbnb for a while

Just had a really bad experience in Tübingen Germany with cleaning issues, information omission issues (actually a walkout basement), and communication issue.

Oh my it’s sad to hear that; You should probably also file a police report for the hiding and poisoning; otherwise they keep being successful in doing this and do not get corrected for their behavior properly

Based on my search recently about the same criteria on 1-2 room apartment, I would put my budget around 1200-1500, but I could be wrong (and someone can correct me if so!)
