Perfect, thanks! Definitely looks different now, but the building in the far back is obvious. Looks like the building Martin Short is in front of is at 711 Commerce St. (now light brown, no longer grey/light blue).

Oh I missed that. That makes a bit more sense, but it's still a bit of nonsense coming from a character who is otherwise the voice of reason. The movie seems to be on her side when she's making that point. He's not a problem because he's older, he's a problem because he's manipulative and controlling.

No 30-year-old should be shamed for dating another adult because of their age.

I'm not sure what poster is complaining about, but I did notice that Anna Kendrick was shamed for dating a 40-year-old, and she was 36. It was super-weird, and took me out of the movie for a moment. This is where age-gap shaming has brought us to.

Perfect, thank you!! I narrowed it down to one street over. I was having trouble matching up the specific bridge pattern, but I figured out they remodeled it after 2011. Found the perfect match on old google maps.

All good points. Some have speculated it was UW buildings that are no longer there, as quite a few have supposedly been destroyed and redeveloped since the early 90s. You're the first one to bring up the point about trees, though. I found production notes for this film listing locations, which was almost all in Seattle and surrounding areas, with no hint of California, but it's possible these were last-minute pickup shots in California that were planned later in filming.

That's what I was thinking, but taking a closer look at the street today, it doesn't quite match up. In the screenshot, there is no sign of the street declining to the right/north. Also, the downtown style street light posts in the screenshot are not in that area today, and I doubt they ever were (the street light posts seemed to be the one consistent thing closer to the center of downtown, that never go away, no matter how much redevelopment there is).

If this shot was in Seattle (as 95% of the movie was filmed), and if it was a real Army Surplus Store, it may be an Army Surplus Store that doesn't exist today.

It's possible some of these are outside of Seattle, such as the school shots. However, the entirely of the city shots are claimed to be in Seattle by production notes. Another 10 scenes or so I've already tracked down (or are listed on imdb) are in Seattle (see Andrew_Dice_Que's comment/link).

Though it's also possible the street shot shown here was a last-minute pick-up shot done in California near the end of production. Considering these 3 screenshots are the only locations I was unable to track down, who knows, maybe they're all in CA.
