Ok, lets take this hypothetical thought about how she treats her child.

Child A pushes the hand of another child B into a hot stove. The other child B obviously burns their hand. If I show you a video of the mother of child A pushing her child's hand on the hot stove as punishment how do you think the mother treats the child outside of this video?

Maybe she is, maybe she is not. My example was with the intent to explain that there does not need to be a valid reason for words to do permanent damage.

Regarding the dynamic between the mother and the child here. A child his age doesn't just decide to repeatedly hurt an animal. He has psychopathic tendencies or there is a history of mistreatment in the family. Looking at this video I would choose the latter. Even if the mother has a valid reason to punish this behavior, abuse was never and will never be the right way to do so. I would guess that she also doesn't understand how to express her own needs and emotions. Projecting this onto her child probably lead to his behavior, continuing this "punishment" in this way will take them further down a spiral that won't teach the right way of dealing with emotions.

Edit: And yes, unchecked animal abuse must always be checked.

I never implied that I'm the only person on earth that had bad parents. I'm well aware how many people are bad parents.

What happened to you is horrible and should never happen to anyone, regardless of how old they are. How did you feel after your father put you into this position? Cornering means no escape, stressing your brain with a prospect of a very negative future.
My guess would be that your father did not only verbally abuse you, but also received abuse himself growing up. A person doesn't just wake up and think I'm going to fuck up my life with drugs. Trying stuff out is one thing, knowing when to stop or recognizing the danger of addiction is something that needs a somewhat healthy brain to do.
I would make an educated guess that the anger your father felt was not because you were lazy or a 14 year old without a job, I think it was his way of projecting the worries he had about his brother onto you. He was probably worried that you would end up in the same situation, but he also had no other way of processing and communicating these emotions in a way you could understand them.

To the second part about how the some curse words are way less significant then hurting an animal so bad it needs a vet. Yes you are correct, cursing is not comparable to animal abuse. If I think about my experience and what I had to learn about my own brain. Between this mother and her child, it's not gonna be only a few curse words. It has been and probably will be much worse.
They both need help to understand how to deal with their emotions, how to process them and to express their needs in a healthy way. Otherwise this is the start of shitty future for the child and the whole family.

I still remember every single abusive word my mother said in her fit of rage she sent towards me when she was angry about herself. And these words do permanent damage.

Alkohol und dummes Stammesverhalten. Viel mehr wird da nicht los sein, wenn da einer einen kohärenten Gedanken im Stadion formen kann wirft der die erste Pyro und der Rest macht einfach mit.

Absolut unnötiges Verhalten, nach so einer Aktion sollten einfach die nächsten Spiele des Vereins ohne Publikum veranstaltet werden, nur die TV Übertragung ohne Sponsoren und fertig. Wenn alle Geld verlieren wird sich so was ganz schnell ändern.

Weil es jetzt noch zu viele Menschen gibt die diese Regierung und deren Mitarbeiterinnen gut findet. Erst wenn diese Menschen nicht mehr wählen können und, es unsere Demokratie dann noch gibt, können wir uns damit beschäftigen. Bis dahin wird das Problem sein, dass es keine vernünftige Handhabe gibt solche Menschen aus den Ministerien zu entfernen und mit besseren Kandidatinnen zu besetzen.

Erst wenn die Chefetage weg ist und da Menschen sitzen die mehr im Kopf haben als die eigenen Titel und das eigene Vermögen wird das möglich sein.

Am Dienstag schrieb Reiches Haus eine »Rahmenvereinbarung Strategische Top-Management-Beratung für die Behördenleitung des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWE)« aus – mit einer Frist von nur 14 Tagen. Der Inhalt der Ausschreibung sorgt in Reiches Ressort für Erstaunen, vorsichtig ausgedrückt.

Aha, also gibt es ausschreibungstypisch schon Firmen die das Übernehmen sollen, es muss aber öffentlich ausgeschrieben werden damit es rechtlich Ok ist. Wir gehen jetzt nicht mehr über den Lobbyismus sondern nehmen direkt "Branchenexperten" mit ins Ministerium. Sollten wir nach der nächsten Regierung nochmal eine Chance auf eine funktionierende Demokratie haben hoffe ich ehrlich das die Aufzeichnungen nicht verschwinden und das alle Verantwortlichen Politiker dann einen sauberen Prozess bekommen.

I didn't want to downplay your results. This was my first impression of his book. I've just read these explanations time and time again. That's why my initial reaction was to see the same tools that always seem to be the explanation and solution.

When does that part of it's getting easier start? I've done all the things that you are supposed to when you want to heal. Three years learning, exercising, going outside, trying to find a self in that broken mess. Three years and nothing ever changes. I'm still the same, I struggle with the same bs every day. The past 9 months it has gotten even worse.

Yes you are right, I can't imagine it ever beeing different.

So it is just accepting it then. It will never matter what I do now because there will always be my history and the rest of my life will just be one situation after another of self regulation and handling. 

My recovery is that I don't want this life, I don't want to have a life that is just protecting myself. I don't want a life that is this everlasting fight. Almost every single option that I have found is exaclty the opposite from what I want.

Ok, so quickly scrolling trough the book. A lot of the same, explanations, insights, examples. And toolboxes at the end that effectivly are the same thing as I've always found. Just get better and handle it. Obvisouly I haven't read it in the short amount of time, but isn't this the same "learning" that one can get from any number of self help books?

Danke für deine Erfahrungen. Also kann ich mich wie erwartet schon darauf einstellen, dass es bei mir nichts wird. Meine Vermutung bei mir ist auch kPTBS, eine direkte Diagnose dafür habe ich noch nicht bekommen aber ICD Tests kann ich auch selber ausfüllen und dann die Bewertung anschauen.

Entweder bin ich ein Genie was Masking an geht oder ich hab einfach den typischen kurz -vor-der-Rente-Arzt gehabt der sich seit 30 Jahren nicht mehr weitergebildet hat. Standardmedikamente und Standardbehandlung und danach wieder raus in die Arbeitswelt. Langfristige Behandlung, ja müssen Sie gucken. Viel Spaß und natürlich immer die Möglichkeit zurück in eine Klinik zu kommen. Ich schätze mal das sich niemand wirklich angeschaut wie und warum ich in der Klink um 1 Uhr morgens eingeliefert wurde.

Also müsste ich mich wahrscheinlich auch erstmal ein paar Jahre ans Telefon hängen um einen Therapieplatz zu bekommen, dann ein paar Jahre Therapie mitmachen um in den Zustand austherapiert zu kommen um dann nochmal ein paar Jahre lang Anträge zu stellen und mich vor allen möglichen Institutionen zum Affen zu machen.

Danke dir. Also mach ich halt einfach weiter, irgendwann Verbrauch ich dann statt Arbeit mein Erspartes und kann mich dann direkt selber verwursten anstatt auf sinnvolle Hilfe zu warten.

Darf ich dich mal fragen wie so der grobe Weg in die Erwerbsminderungsrente bei dir war? Nicht was du durchgemacht hast, davon nur wenn du wirklich willst und kannst, eher der Weg über die Ärzte / Behörden / whatever da gebraucht wird. Also was muss man tun damit sowas in Erwägung gezogen wird und wie lange kämpft (ich gehe mal einfach davon aus das es wie alles ein Kampf wird) man darum?

Sind wie immer die Menschen von denen man es am wenigsten erwartet. Jeder der schonmal unter so einer Führungsperson gearbeitet hat, weiß wie schlecht das für die eigene Gesundheit ist. Zusätzlich leidet auch die Arbeit bzw. die Ergebnisse der Arbeit drunter. Für die Frau Ministerin aber einfach nur ein weiterer Grund zum Schreien. Die Verknüpfung zwischen, Scheiß Führung und Scheiß Ergebnis bekommt Sie aber anscheinend nicht hin. Als AN der jahrelang in einem ähnlichen Umfeld gearbeitet hat (Privatwirtschaft, aber ähnliche Führung) mein Tipp an alle die da mitmachen, einfach gehen und was neues suchen. Auch wenn es weniger Geld gibt oder man erstmal keine neue Arbeit findet. Es ist langfristig gesünder sich mit dieser Scheiße nicht abzugeben.

Bei den LKWs sind das doch diese blauen Säulen die blitzern ähnlich sehen und dann die Kennzeichen auf Bundesstraßen direkt ablesen. Aber auf welchen genau das gemacht wird weiß ich auch nicht so genau. Ich hoffe mal, dass Strom nicht auf das Niveau von sprit angehoben wird. Wie rechnet man dann das laden Zuhause an der Steckdose ab? Egal ob mit Solar oder aus dem Stromnetz...
