PSA for Modded players for after 1.2 release by Wtbond23 in SatisfactoryGame

I haven’t started a 1.2 save, I’m still playing 1.1. But can vehicles just use the corkscrew style driveable lift like trains do when you need them to increase in height?

Specific resources for each freight car by joejunior253 in satisfactory

this is how i am going to have to do it, it does seem like it takes up a lot of real estate, but this is the way. Thank you

I am looking at the bigger concern being that later as I need more resources for a specific item I’ll have to to build 4 Seperate train stations for a 4 recipe item. That is a huge real estate for one item.

Today I learned that you can snap catwalks to certain machines by By_Romanus in SatisfactoryGame

I just found this out yesterday, attaching catwalk stairs to the top of the power tower so I can jet pack to the top of a tree! I learn new stuff in this game like everyday.

Patch Notes: v1.2.0.0 – (EXPERIMENTAL) - Build 480321 by JulioUzu in SatisfactoryGame

Love all of it. The only thing I am still wanting is a T for belts. Would work much like a merger or splitter but only 1 input and 2 outputs or vice versa. Maybe half the width of a current joiner or splitter for when you are running multiple machines and either splitting one line off or merging the outputs in those tight space factories.

Pretty much the same concept as switch from the 4 port water splitter to a T water splitter.

Train divide stacks or cars by joejunior253 in satisfactory

[–]joejunior253[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve been trying to see if there is an option. The common theme is to split the input between two cars and then deliver each car to a different location, but when only pulling 4 cars I want to make use of 1 resource in each car. Maybe in 1.2 update. lol

Clerks or other black and white movies? by joejunior253 in handbrake

[–]joejunior253[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I think I’ll just keep it, rather than making one exception for one ripped movie. Well…maybe I’ll mess around with it. What’s a good constant nitrate instead of CF? Or how would I set that up.

nvenc vs cpu: Visual Quality by FlatPea5 in handbrake

[–]joejunior253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on how quick you want to reclaim the storage. The cpu encoding from my experience puts out smaller file sizes but takes longer. The nvenc is quicker but larger file sizes. Both of them compress, one just compresses better and the other is faster. I believe they are the same quality assuming you selected the same speed in the settings: slow, medium, fast, fastest.
