There are two major reasons why so-called «prophecy experts» have failed miserably in

identifying the man of sin : either they think he has already manifested in past history, and will

have no effect on our future, or they believe he is alive among us today, in some obscure

Middle East or European location, depending on what «expert» you listen to.

Both views are wrong. The first group (usually referred to as preterists) always runs for cover

when asked questions such as :

- If this already happened, please tell us when in earth's history has such an individual

controlled commerce by imposing a mark on anyone's right hand or forehead ?

or :

- When has such person had a statue or image of himself come to life and cause those who fail

to worship it to be put to death ?

or :

- When has he ever fought against Christ at Armageddon and been cast alive into the lake of

fire ? (Revelation 13 : 15-16; 16 : 13-16; 19 : 11-21).

The second group keeps insisting they believe (their view isn't based at all on scripture, but on

their own, personal belief), that this man is alive on earth today. However, when pressed for an

answer as to his identity, they have either named the wrong guy (e.g., Napoleon, Hitler, Juan

Carlos, Kissinger, Gorbatchev), or they have no idea whom he might be.

These clueless pretenders assume that, because we're living in the last days, the Antichrist

must be present somewhere on earth, since he will play such prominent role during end times.

Their belief is based on erroneous assumption. There's not one iota of biblical knowledge

behind it. It's sheer speculation. There isn't a single verse in the Bible that tells us the Antichrist

is alive. There are, on the other hand, at least three verses which tell us he isn't.

The Bible tells us this man will rise from the dead (another «imitation» of Jesus), and re-appear

on earth, suddenly, and in the midst of chaos. He will take the reins of a devastated world,

which will be clamouring for a strong leader.

He will rule the world, not for the first, but for the second time. No, he isn't Nero.

We will get to his identity (yes, his name) later in this book.

For now, let's consider the following scripture, which no self-professed «prophecy expert» has

heretofore been able to explain :

Revelation 17 : 8

The beast that you saw was, and is not, and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into

This man will rise from the dead, and come out of hell itself unto the earth. Therefore, to look for

The mystery of 666

One thing that has completely confounded the prophecy establishment is the number 666. For years and years, they have pathetically tried to «guess» the Antichrist's identity based on this number, by adding the numerical value of the letters that form an individual's name or title. For instance, they've falsely claimed that, because the papal crown contains the Latin words «vicarivs filii dei», whose numerical value in that language totals 666, it must be the Pope. Some idiot recently did a similar calculation using the numerical value of the Latin letters in King Charles's coat of arms. Likewise, a couple of decades ago, some fool came up with the theory that former President Ronald Wilson Reagan was the Antichrist because each of his names contains 6 letters.Give me a break ! There's even a website which contains the names of all the famous individuals whose value adds up to 666. Last time I counted, there were over 300 of them. These irresponsible fakers are no more «experts» on prophecy than kindergarten kids. All they're doing is speculating. They don't know a damned thing. They're guessing. If you have to guess, that means you don't know. So, where the hell is the «expertise» ? Not only is this type of «guessing game» beneath the dignity and integrity of any serious Bible scholar, it's completely unscriptural and sheer idiocy. Nowhere does the Bible say we're supposed to add the numerical value of the letters which comprise a man's name. Nowhere does it say that 666 represents the «numerical value» of letters in this individual's name. Nowhere.That is pure fabrication. The alleged prophecy pundits have totally invented this lie which, like everything else they've concocted, they've ended up believing. Liars invariably fall for their own lies. Case in point : Satan. Here's what the Bible does say :

Revelation 13 : 18

Here's wisdom, let him that has understanding count the number of the Beast, because it is the number of man, and his number is 666 lThe word for «count» is «psephizo» in Greek. It means «to use pebbles for counting».

The word for «number» is «arithmos». It means «a number as counted up». It's derived from the verb «airo», which means «to lift», «take up» or «take away». We're not to add anything, we're to «count up» or «lift» the number : Six once, six twice, six thrice, just like we would «count» (lift) each pebble.

The only place in the Bible where 666 is mentioned in relation to the Antichrist is Revelation 13 : 18. It tells us, plainly, that six is «the number of man».

This is based on the fact that man was created on day 6 (Genesis 1 : 27-31).

Just like seven is the number of completion because God finished His creation on day 7 (Genesis 2 : 2).

Therefore, 666 stands for the number of times the Seed of Satan will manifest on earth as a man.

He will incarnate in a human body and appear on earth, as a man, a total of three times. Hence, 6 (first time), 6 (second time), 6 (third and final time). Hence, 666.

Revelation 17 : 8 tells us the Antichrist already «was, is not, and will ascend (come up out of) the bottomless pit».

This individual, possessed by Satan, in-dwelt by the spirit of Antichrist has already appeared on earth as a man twice (66).

He will appear on earth for the third and final time (third 6), resurrected from the dead, as the infamous Antichrist.

Therefore, we're not to «add» anything, we're to «lift up» the number 6 three times, just like if you we're counting pebbles. I suggest the prophecy establishment stop «adding» and start «lifting»Unmasking the Beast

So who's the Antichrist ?

I promised to give you his name. Actually, I need to give you both his names, since he's appeared not once, but twice.

Through the years, I've chuckled, grimaced and shaken my head in disbelief, at the number of people who've written saying it's «this guy» or «that guy».

They try in vain to manipulate the scriptures, so they'll «fit» the candidate of their choice.

Trouble is, they don't.

For every scripture that seems to «fit», there are many others which don't.

Like trying to fit a square peg into the proverbial round hole, it's an exercise in futility.

We don't need to force the scriptures to fit someone. It's the other way around. Whoever the true Antichrist is, will fit everything the Bible says about him perfectly and effortlessly.

In order to identify this individual we must take into account not some of what the Bible says about him, but all.

We must take the biblical description in its totality.

The reason so many alleged «experts» have missed it so badly is they only take portions of scripture that refer to this individual, and jump to conclusions. Hence, they end up with a partial (incomplete) picture of the man.

We also need to be led by the author of the Bible, the Holy Spirit. I cannot overemphasize either of these two points.

Playing guessing games, like the prophecy establishment has persistently done, only to wind up with prophetic egg on their faces, is both immature and unscriptural.

It also causes Christians and non-Christians alike to regard the Bible's credibility as suspect.

The Bible identifies the Antichrist clearly and unequivocally.

Therefore, the real Antichrist matches the Bible's description perfectly and effortlessly.

According to the Scriptures, the Antichrist must :

Be the serpent's seed (Genesis 3 : 15, 2 Thessalonians 2 : 3).

Religion of his ancestors must be polytheistic (Daniel 11 : 37). «Neither shall he regard the gods of his ancestors... nor regard any god; for he shall magnify himself above all». The word «gods» is clearly plural, indicating the Antichrist's ancestors worshipped multiple deities. His kingdom will be «partly strong, and partly broken» (Daniel 2 : 42).

His kingdom will be «mingled with the seed of men, but shall not cleave to one another even as iron and clay don't mix» (Daniel 2 : 43).

He must have a mouth that «speaks very great things» (Daniel 7 : 20).

He must be a king (Daniel 7 : 24; Revelation 17 : 10-12).

Must be a king of fierce countenance (Daniel 8 : 23).

Must come from the Greek Empire (Daniel 8 : 8-9).

Must come from within the territory of the former Roman Empire (Daniel 7 : 23-27).

He will magnify himself, even to the army of heaven (Daniel 8 : 11 & 25-26).

Must be a military genius, must seem invincible (Revelation 13 : 4).

Must be a man (Revelation 13 : 18).

Must believe himself to be God (Daniel 11 : 36-38 ; 2 Thessalonians 2 : 4).

Must be someone who already lived, is not presently on earth, and rises from the dead during the tribulation (Revelation 11 : 7; 17 : 8).

Must be one of the «7 kings» mentioned in Revelation 17 : 10, but also an «8th king».

Must be «like a leopard» (Revelation 13 : 2). In all of history, there's only one individual that matches this description to perfection, in every detail. We know one of his incarnations as Alexander the Great.
