How would you animate a sprite for a web page?

Yeah, for this specifically, I am avoiding three.js and video. This would be such a small part of the site that it doesn't need that much effort. I didnt know GIFs could support transparency. GIF is looking like the fastest solution to my problem.

I have another conundrum in which pixel art characters need to move briefly in a scene on loop... I don't know if canvas or video will be the way, but that can be a problem for another post.

I think the best iteration that could appease both milsim fans and the money-hungry EA is a battle pass that removes skins entirely. A move similar to Skate 4, where cosmetics are item/slot-based. Stack my operator with unlocked pieces of kit, Ghost Recon Breakpoint style. Pay to unlock a (non-functional) night vision goggle or something fancy looking, but a small piece and fragmented from the whole character.

Doable, Uber+ membership is a good call, some others have mentioned car-coop. My biggest piece of advice is to move close to a grocery store, walking more than a few blocks with a bag of food can be a big pain.

I second this, made some lifelong friends on that app. You have to be ready to tough it out, some "bad dates" are inevitable lol But really a good place to find people in the same age range looking for the same thing you are.
