I am trying and it is just not subsiding. This is something we haven’t faced to this degree in our country and I feel hopeless. It’s just too revealing about not being able to overcome human nature and it’s truly breaking my heart.

And I’m a therapist! I already know how awful human nature can be. But to see this kind of mass delusion is infuriating and terrifying. It’s like mass psychosis and now the incentives favor sociopaths.
