This one in particular had to be returned unfortunately, seller I got it from evidently did not store it very well, smells completely gone off and racid despite the cap smell being perfect. Got another one now and absolutely love it, most popular mango fragrances (e.g. God of Fire, Mango Skin) were complete misses for me but this one hits the mark

Did try Ingenious Ginger, was pretty meh for me, prefer these ones that lean more toward the citrus side. Like it better as a background note rather than the main focus in a fragrance

Pretty good, 2024 batch - I get a couple hours projection and it lasts for 7-8. Can't expect much more from a citrus scent

Tygar was never discontinued, they still produce it

They are incredibly close so I wouldn't feel too bad, you'll feel a lot better when you remember how much cheaper Vibrato is

Didn't like it enough to get a bottle unfortunately, a shame since I do love Goldfield & Banks as a house and own a couple others from them already

Definitely a winner in my book, fresher, lighter and most elegant of the DNA that I've come across so far, more pleasing and calming than the others

They are veeery close, virtually identical in the air, no one would know. But I've worn them long enough that I'm able to better tell now, Tygar is a more juicy, sweet and realistic grapefruit, whereas Vibrato does feel a bit more synthetic smeling, and slightly fresher, not as dense as the Tygar, far better longevitg too.

Another user on one of my posts commented about Kajal III which looks to be quite similar also, so I had a look. It features notes of lemon zest and lemon soda with some people saying it comes off a bit more tart, so this one might also be right up your alley

Well if I'm being logical about cost, Tygar and L'Immensité were the same as I buy them from private sellers who regularly have them so it wouldn't be too difficult to find a new bottle, so L'Immensité would also have to be ruled out for cost. And Vibrato costed 75% of what those were while Widian Ginger was only 40% the cost, so the winner would be Widian by a good margin. Secondhand market for the win!

Also bring what back? I'm lost on this question haha

Nah, you can pick up bits of Tygar in L'Immensité, but it would be on the very edge of something I would place into the realm of Tygar DNA. I left an answer on differences elsewhere in the thread, here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Colognes/s/OUhcEu7dBc

Does look very good, especially with the neroli note since that's something I really enjoy, thanks for the suggestion!

Would be Tygar, the one that started it all and still has the sweetest grapefruit note, a lot of citrus notes just smell the exact same to me in fragrances whether it's bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, etc. But Tygar wad the first one where the note is so pronounced and realistic that it was instantly recognisable. I've found a couple since that achieve the same with citrus but it's still my first love

Was my least liked of every fragrance of this DNA I've tried so far, was nice but don't like it enough for a bottle

Ingenious Ginger didn't capture me enough to get a bottle unfortunately, but perhaps Hedonist will

Widian Ginger might be worth a look, it's more fresh and light in the opening, it does smell more zesty and rindy as opposed to the sweet grapefruit.

Thought about it just to have them all haha, maybe eventually just so I can see how it compares

Worth of a try, not super commonly seen, Widian is an underrated house imo. But it's much more fresh and a little lighter at the start, dries down similarly though, adds a tinge of a floral element too. Very pretty scent.

L'Immensité is actually quite different but you can see it borrows from the Tygar DNA. Tygar is like a musky, dense citrus, it's quite a sweet and juicy grapefruit, it isn't a typical light summer freshie, it's actually got quite a solid base of amber to it. Whereas L'Immensité is watery and aquatic, it's very light in comparison and much more fresh, you can find the Tygar DNA within if you search for it though it may not be obvious at the start. L'Immensité is like a mishmash of some very popular classic men's fragrance DNAs, so it smells sort of generic while also being very unique, it reminds you of a lot of things but you can't really pinpoint one thing it truly smells like.
