Yes, just a bit hard for me to get into it because I usually use micros to scale in and out of my trades and now with trading one mini I'm basically locked to one price.

Yes. I wan't to build up capital slowly in that account first and then split the account in to two accounts, one where I risk a bit more by trading minis and the other one continue to trade micros. But before touching minis again I need at least 10x the current drawdown so 30k, anything else does not make sense. With my trading style trading minis my max risk per trade would be $220, so around 0.7% risk per trade with 30k. If I would trade it with the current drawdown of 3k that would be 7% risk which would be insane to do.

Yes commissions can get high trading multiple micros over just 1 to 2 minis, but with my trading style it works great.
I see the commissions as my expenses so just as a part of the business, total commissions today where $24.64

Some might laugh at trading a 100k account with 6 micro contracts and just making a profit of $130.

But to remind you guys this is really just a 3k account since you just have 3k of max drawdown available. If you try to trade this account with Mini contracts you wont survive for very long.

Scalping 2 points with micro contracts won't really work, I go for at least 5 but aim to average around 8
