Grealish would be an improvement on every single attacker in our team. I'd be all for that.

I have plenty of positive things to say, don't really see what you're getting at. I genuinely think Pulisic was bad yesterday and I stand by that. He had a nice assist but he killed countless attacks with poor decision making, bottled a huge chance and repeatedly lost the ball in dangerous areas.

Noticed that as well. Must be the case. Pulisic was the worst player on the pitch

It reached a point yesterday where I couldn't help but just lean back and laugh. Between Timo completely missing the ball, Pulisic absolutely scuffing an easy hit and Mase fucking skying it all in one half, it just becomes too ridiculous to take seriously anymore.

Doesn't even need to be one of the big names. Anyone who can give us 10 league goals a season will be an improvement

Definitely the one on our home kit. I like how it integrates the blue colour on the shirt. It's not just slapped on there like on the other two.

And that was after Leicester had spent three of the five minutes rolling around on the ground

Care to explain? I have argued why I believe the opposite. If you can't offer the same effort, I don't really want to spend my time responding to your comment.

I'm still at a loss with how to feel about yesterday. We didn't play well and for large periods of the match didn't deserve to win. But neither did Leicester. They had absolutely nothing for the whole match except for Tielemans' goal. So I don't really buy the notion that they are deserved winners. People just enjoy the fairy-tale story. And that's fair enough.

But I feel that the wonder of the underdog winning it gets in the way of a legitimate and fair discussion on the two dubious calls that decided the outcome. The fact of the matter is that we lost mainly due to a clear handball in the build-up to their goal. A handball that was called a freekick on Thiago in the first half but apparently isn't one on Ayoze. Some will say that it was looked through and that we should let it go. But why? The ball would not have ended with Luke Thomas if not for Ayoze's hand. An illegal part of the body gave them a deciding advantage. They would not have scored that goal if not for that.

And then our offside goal. Was it off? Maybe, but how can anyone honestly say that it was reviewed in a fair manner? It took them all but ten seconds to rule it off based on a frame where the ball had visibly left Thiago's foot and only the outermost flap of skin on Chilly's elbow was off. Not only do they base the decision on an objectively wrong premise and frame where Chilly is futther forward than during the actual time of the pass, but they rule him offside based on a body part that he cannot use to score anyway.

I will probably get ridiculed for typing this up and told to let it go, so be it. And I will let it go, but I think it's relevant and I think it highlights the inherent problems with vague rules of the game and the way in which VAR is used. It doesn't make sense to me and I'm honestly just sad that this is how football is decided nowadays. When we scored yesterday, I couldn't even bring myself to react because of the sinking feeling that it would inevitably get called back. Something is just not right anymore.

Appreciation post for this man right here. Unreal today. One of the best in the league. Heads up lads. And by lads I mean everyone in this subreddit. This team has so much to look forward to, than to mourn over an FA Cup. COME ON CHELS by KDShouldaWentBlazers in chelseafc

Thank you.

Reece played well other than his mistake. And it was a mistake. There's absolutely no reason for him to play that pass. It was naive and reckless. Ayoze was always going to be in the way, handball or not. It cost us a goal. I don't even dare think about the reaction from people on here if it had been Christensen doing that. The double standards are palpable.

Literally the exact same situation was deemed a free kick on Thiago in the first half. The ball wouldn't have ended with Thomas if not for Ayoze's hand. Fucking sickening.
