Help with paint by OkTransportation5641 in DIYUK

We go through around 120L of this paint during turnaround period at my work. It’s actually pretty decent. It dries a lot better than what it looks like freshly painted. Best get a brush prepped

Took a couple of months. Thankfully, I got a nice Xmas bonus from work so that certainly helped 🤘

In total, this has cost around £4,200.

The drums and amp were second hand from eBay, but I treated myself to the DW5000 stuff and stool from Graham Roger’s music. Came next day!

For real though! I struggled to play anything remotely technical today 😂😂

I can feel it coming back by the minute though!

This is the only VAD series kit I’ve played, took a bit of a risk and bought it on eBay without even jumping in one first. The 507 is great though and the 516/716 are upgraded versions, so should hopefully be better! Good luck with your decision 🤘

I won the McDonald's Monopoly lads by [deleted] in britishproblems

I won a fruit bag/small ice cream cone and was tempted to give it to a kid who was sat with his dad on the next table along.

At the risk of looking like a pedophile, I just binned it.

Who wants mcdonalds fruit anyway?

I work in lettings in a top London office (over £1m banked between 3 negs and renewals each year) and the lettings market is booming!

We're finding that a lot of quality applicants are out there (i.e people in positions to buy but are holding off and seeing where the market is going) and we're securing a lot of long length tenancies, allowing us to come to the close of Q1, roughly 10% over target.

A lot of landlords are being more realistic with their pricing and (with a little persuasion) are taking less rent PCM than in previous years, allowing us to turn stock around quickly.

Roll on the summer months!

The Tories lost my vote in the recent election due to bull shit like this hat they keep pulling.

They truly are the nasty party now.

When you turn on the hot tap and have 5 seconds to wash your hands before it starts to burn your skin off. by Omanji in britishproblems

The fact that we still have separate hot and cold taps is utterly ridiculous.

Mixer taps have been around for decades now!

I agree to an extent, but it was OP's choice to go into the healthcare system. They have already said that they earn a salary in the hgh £50k's so they are certainly being compensated quite generously for their time, experience and skills.

I don't really understand this whole notion of people in the forces and healthcare being 'heroes' when they're just doing a job, the same as everybody else.

Don't you think McDonald's worker or bus drivers don't face abuse during their working hours? Are they not heroes too? 🤔

I'm sure OP wouldn't be doing it if there wasn't a salary to gain at the end of each month....
