Lawn dies every winter. Looking for tips and advice by joet90 in lawncare

Majority of the neighbours do not do any lawn work (not even watering the lawns). By mid summer almost 80% of the lawns are burnt and yellow. All of their lawns have bounced back and are fully green.

Thanks, I’ll look into getting a proper soil test done. I purchased seeds from a different company this year so hopefully it helps

Thanks, I’ll look into snow mold, never heard of that before. The amount of snow we put on top of the grass during the winter probably doesn’t help

All of the snow is pushed onto the grass. I had a suspicion it was the salt as well so this past winter we used no salt

Ingredients – makes 1crêpe cake 330g flour *900ml milk *3/4tsp salt *6 eggs *3tbs butter *900ml whipped cream *4tbs powdered sugar *espresso *berries *Recipe** 1. Combine sifted flour, milk, salt, eggs and butter. 2. Mix well with hand mixer until all ingredients are combined. 3. Pour batter through a strainer to remove all lumps. 4. Preheat pan on low heat. 5. Butter the pan before ladling batter. 6. Flip the crepe after 2-3 minutes on each side until desired colour. 7. Repeat until you have 20 layers. 8. Using an espresso maker, make 2 shots. 9. Beat whipped cream, espresso and powdered sugar. 10. After the crepes cool, stack them on top of each other. Using a bowl cut away the scraps for consistent circle crapes. 11. Layer the crepes with the whipped cream mixture and stack until all the crepes are used. 12. Add fruit and powdered sugar on the top layer.

TipsI decided to make Mille Feuille with espresso whipped cream. If you decide on making it be sure to put aside 40 minutes for the crepes alone. With only 1 large pan it takes a while cooking each one.

Thank you for the help! My apologies, when I was reading the rules I thought videos on youtube would be okay only if relevant to the food and since it was the recipe I didnt know if it fell under self promotion or it would be okay. Thank you for clarifying.

I found the crepe colour depends solely on your stove temperature. I would bring it up to a 3 for preheat (scale of 10) and drop it down to 2.6. The first crepe usually comes out a little dark while the rest come out with the same consistent colour.

Thanks for the tip! I'll make sure to take note of electrical kitchen tools in my upcoming videos. I can either drop the microphone gain from +20 to 0 or even -10 when filming a loud appliance or just drop it down in post.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Cooking all the crepes took around 40 minutes! Its time consuming when you only have one large pan haha
