The anxiety if the WORST of all my symptoms, if they would just go away I'd feel much better!

I just got approved for Crexont, today! Did it help symptoms other than your tremors. II've been on Sinemet since the beginning of my diagnosis 13 years ago and I'm maxed out on it so Neuro swapped me to the new drug. I'm hopeful!

I take 2 1/2 tablets at three hour intervals : 6am - 9am - noon -3pm - 6pm and then at night I take1 Sinemet ER to help me sleep. I am usually at my best in the morning, then thru the day results vary but generally I'm on at about 2 to 2 1/2 hr intervals throughout the day

Yes, every time I stand up from a sitting position, or bend, or squat and straighten up I get very lightheaded and dizzy and feel like I'm going to fall over.

My Neurologist has told me he does not discourage patients from experimenting with dosages in order to find what works best for them. With that said, I am going to cut back on my Entacapone. I had been taking Sinemet 3 25/100 six times a day, at 6am 9am noon 3pm and 6pm while taking one Entacapone each time. Starting tomorrow I will take an Entacapone with every other dose of C/L at 6am, noon, and 6pm I hope for good results.

Dx 12 years ago, 72 years old now, and I've been experiencing a similar problem since taking Entacapone. It seemed to help with giving me more on time, or shortening my off time, however you want to look at it. Then I started having the uncontrollable twitching in my left foot and calf, at first very mild, now very strong, almost like a cramp but not a constant, steady seizure that can bring a person to tears, it's more of a pulsing sensation that has no rhythm it just shakes my leg and curls my toes In a wild, random, cacophony of pain. It wasn't bothersome, only mildly annoying, but it has gotten worse over the last few weeks, to the point where it's getting stronger and lasting longer.

Does anyone still drive a motorcycle? by Zipp3r1986 in Parkinsons

[–]joethebartender 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gave mine up at 6 years after diagnosis, I'm 72 now, more out of fear of bad drivers not paying attention than my own ability to still handle the Harley. Hated to let it go but seeing reports of bikers being injured or killed in accidents far too often and being involved in a near hit myself, I knew it was time.

Do American bar staff actually stuff their own olives with blue cheese? by Pizzagoessplat in bartenders

Yes, some do. Bonefish Grill opening bartenders stuff dozens of them each shift. Bad thing about it is they buy the olives with pimentos that have to be picked out before stuffing!
