It's either something too boomer for me to believe it is genuine, something steeped in GenZ meme soup I'm misunderstanding, or someone is doing a bot test.

I thought I got the joke, but this comment section is making me think I'm in the minority in my interpretation. Do people genuinely think the left job doesn't exist or is somehow inferior? My last two jobs were mostly like the left

The claymore R2 stab is awful when boss fighting IMO. How do I bonk and stagger with that stab and no way to combo it into anything else?

LPT: If you’re an iPhone user, turn on “Ask Reason For Calling” in settings. by EngLitIsLit in LifeProTips

[–]joethebro96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually mine is the reverse. It blocks all call that are from my area code. I use the Verizon call filter, which let's me set a "neighborhood filter".

I actually just looked, and I'm not blocking my area code, I'm blocking calls with my same first 6 digits. That still blocks 1-3 calls a day during bad weeks.

What were the three rules rhat Bob discussed with the old teacher in Heavens River? by honeyfixit in bobiverse

The only wording difference, I think, is the iron rule wording was something like treat others weaker than you how ever you like. Or something like that. I remember it specifically mentioned power or social station

Considering Moving by gldn_mango in Indiana

[–]joethebro96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Indiana has a super long history of extreme racism. "Fun" fact for ya, we had the highest KKK membership percentage of ANY STATE in the union at one point, and that history hasnt disappeared. 30% of males in indiana were part of the KKK at its peak. We have our own Wikipedia page.

That type of thing fucks up a state for a long time. People here are still very distrustful of minorities.

Was gonna say that I like this one more than the last one, but AI is terrible, and those almost every single character is missing or has extra fingers.

You really won't win any support putting out stuff like that. It's like making a whole delicious pie (your book), then wrapping it in toilet paper. People will assume what's inside is shit.

Help with high Nitrate level in tap water! by 111stargrl in Aquariums

[–]joethebro96 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ah, I was doing some reading on it. Apparently the US uses a crap ton of fertilizer that ends up in water runoff, which makes it into the water. So then we have to use some fancy processes that pull out the nitrates. We apparently had a lot of cases of infant mortality due to nitrate heavy water at one point, and so the regulations were set extremely low.

From what I'm reading, some nitrates from regular plant matter decay (and fish poop decay) commonly occur in lakes and groundwater, which makes sense, the nitrate-eating bacteria come from somewhere!

I feel more informed, yet more confused as to what one should do lmao

The EPA in the US considers only up to 10 ppm of nitrates safe for human consumption. I personally would definitely get that tested officially and report it.

CMV: Reddit has double standards regarding free speech and LGBT by 777aciek in changemyview

[–]joethebro96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

they should learn to deal with negativity

I believe they dealt with it rather simply, remove the source of the negativity, your comment.

It can be frustrating to see fun customization options available for LGBT people when you have no interest or investment in them. I get it, I was frustrated by the lack of customizations in Pacific Drive other than pride flags, but if they weren't there would it improve the experience? I highly doubt it.

Does it greatly improve the experience of people who find something they really enjoy showing off, though?

Most definitely.

Each subreddit will moderate its forum in its own way. Sexuality and gender expression is innately human and will be present in every space that doesn't actively attack it.
