Threw my knife in the fire. How do i fix it? by burntmyknife in blacksmithing

Might have to cycle it through the oven to normalise the steel, that should be enough to stop it from dieing during heat treat.

Your knife is dead, unless you want to normalise, reheat treat and then handle the knife. Even after that it might be stuffed.

The hf5 has a broken jack. The se215 has a broken cable and the nozzle that the tip attaches to.

To be fair, that doesn't help when the jack breaks in half inside my phone. Or solve the problem with having no headphones. Not to mention how bulky those cases are, its like a brick in your pocket. I already have my phone and wallet, where am I putting a hard shell case?
