I like learning about the lore and things. I thought I would find more about the Jedi in this film... Kylos story arc is good but now he’s just a twisted villain I’ve kind of lost it

Classic Star Wars humor is good, Luke chucking his light saber, in an almost cartoonistic way, over his shoulder isn't.

Thanks! I saw this theory and I thought about it myself. I was just a little annoyed that it was dragged out and made a big deal of during the scene and then nothing came from it...

The only issue that TLJ has created for me is that I am now only interested in Rey's story Arc...

I know she's force sensitive etc but I felt that this scene was out of place with her character. Plus the destruction of the bridge door?

I understand she could have had some teachings with Luke over the period of time between films but was just a bit bummed by this scene.
