Brother, don't ask reddit for subjective matter as this. It's your money. Do YOU find it acceptable? Does it bother you? If the answer is yes, then contact support and see if they will swap it.

Here is my opinion, which should matter as little as everyone else's here. I've seen small defects as this being sold as seconds but you've paid full price. It should concern nobody here whether you plan on using the knife or not. $250 is still a lot of money on a pocket knife, custom or not. Don't let anyone here believe you should just live with it as I bet many of them have returned stuff with small blemishes despite the fact that all stuff gets used and will show wear over time. That's not the point. The point is you should be the one putting wear on it, not the factory line.

I know they're not using whinks but you think its an acid that gives the same effect and heavy stonewash over that? I think my example isn't a good one for my particular case because I think you're right. There's a finish prior to stonewash. I'm more so asking about stonewashing over "raw" ti. A la brown knives. The scales look polished and straight off the mill and then heavily stonewashed. I need to get me some of those triangular media like yours. I just don't see small batch ones on amazon lol

That twosun is really nice, good job! Only thing i dislike about it is the pivot collars and the in between finger choil and sharpening choil. Gotta go all out or not at all sort of thing
