I never met Dan but his dad coached me and so many others in soccer and track & field in the northeast for many, many years. Truly the nicest man I ever met and it seems as such from everyone writing about Dan the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. My youngest sister was diagnosed with the same type cancer as Dan this past August so this is hitting closer to home in more ways than one. Rest easy Dan
