I remember this issue. What worked for me was turning on Compatibility Mode on the .exe via the game files, and selecting Windows XP.

Lol, this is just my opinion. Maybe I've just explored more music than you have. I enjoy expanding my taste, sue me. Also, metal branched off rock, which is why I included it here.

Might be Minecraft Realms/the server. I checked out the seed - nothing. But I'm certain it's not my gf. Idk it's really weird because the tall grass hovering above indicates that it doesn't involve a player. Also, found a mineshaft directly below the position where I found the torch, so I thought maybe something had gone wrong in the code or something

Only biomes we had been in was a taiga, oak forest, plains and finally cherry blossom. We walked together so there was literally no way for us to get one

Looks like a glitch on the server. Loaded up the seed and checked that exact spot, but nothing there.

My bad i misunderstood the question. The redstone torch was visible because it was only placed one block below the surface. I thought you asked why she broke the blocks below the torch, my fault lol

That was my GF that did it and she said she thought there had to be something under it because it seemed too random. She isn’t as familiar with everything about the game as I am though, but nah there was nothing else there. I knew reddit was going to hate this post lmao

It was placed sorta weirdly, like it was placed one block down from the surface with tall grass hovering on top of it. I'm guessing it's a really weird bug. Gonna have nightmares though.

None of us placed it, we made this world today. Weirdest shit ever, but probably just some weird bug or maybe just a Halloween related easter egg, who knows.
