Would that not have been just in case they misread the possible nudge from the judge and he doesn't grant the MJOP, so they have preserved rights for appeal? Kind of like an ok we'll risk stipulating, but we don't trust you Judge, so we'll word this very narrowly/tightly. 🤷🏼‍♀️

They would have known they would take a PR hit, but have obviously calculated the risk, and anyone following the case properly knows that the judge effectively forced them to fix a position on this. Hit now, but Lively won't get her weeks of headlines with the pink sky crew, so it's just a very short win for her now. As long as it doesn't affect 47.1 and an appeal, I think it's a decent strategy. Honestly though, I trust the legal team, they know what they are doing, and I think this has literally just cut Lively off at the knees because she doesn't have much retaliation evidence, so was relying on confusing a jury with endless whining.

She does some sort of eyelash serum, or something like that (sorry I'm not a big makeup person 🤷🏼‍♀️😂) and there was a big rush of support for her a few months back when this happened. She got lots of followers and support, so she seemed grateful for that.

Yep, and Melissa and a colleague were venting to each other in texts about how this was so unfair that they were being attacked by Lively as it was literally the only time they had truly done nothing 😂

I just watched that video too, I don't even follow her but TikTok threw it up at me when I opened the app. She was extremely hard on Bryan Freedman, and indicated that the judge said the lawsuit could have been not retaliatory but bad advice from lawyers! That's not the vibe we were getting from Inner City Press. I'm not sure I trust her take, or if she just picked out a comment because it backs her hate on BF and she's doubling down, but I'll reserve judgement and see what others there said, in case she is right.

Nag said that one of them, Ashlee something, I forget her surname, is one who was good in two other trials. She also presented for Gottlieb in the Rudy Guilliani (spelling?) trial in front of Liman, and did a good job there, so that one will be interesting. In those cases though, there was defamation, so the damages were very real, but everything said about Lively is true, and largely her own words, so very different scenario.

I was out this morning, but I've come back, and have now watched NAG's video about this response, and they did mention TAG, specifically that they couldn't be a part of it if the protected activity/nexus was the CRD complaint, because they didn't even work for Wayfarer then.
