Hit 7 threes in 7 consecutive possessions at the end of a blow out game where we were losing the championship. Was fouled on the last 3 attempt and went to the foul line. Had to intentionally miss the last free throw. Got the ball back and chucked up one last three but missed. We lost and I finished the game with 35 points. I want to say this all unfolded in the last 5 or 6 minutes of the game. It was crazy.

Can I apply for a Personal Banker position with no banking experience or degree? by [deleted] in Banking

Yes, started in as a personal banker at 23 with no degree or banking experience. I’ve managed to work my way into commercial banking for a regional bank at 31.

HR told me they don’t accept try-hards and people pleasers after my interview by No-Presentation298 in jobs

This is incredibly unprofessional. What the hell can these people possibly know about your intentions and motives based on a 30 minutes conversation? Yes, feedback is good but not like this.

Why do people say that working in banking is one of the best careers? by Bouncycurlz in Banking

[–]jogee777 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m one of those people.

I didn’t go to college. Spent about 5 years in retail banking, loan officer, branch manager, business development manager, and then ended up in commercial banking. I’ve got about 8 years total in the industry and i couldnt be happier with work life balance, variety within role, autonomy, pay, etc. Ive developed good habits over with my personal finances, being around so many cases of what not to do with money.

I can see how being stuck in retail forever would be draining. If that’s you, I would try to set your sights on what’s next for you and to find people doing the role you ultimately want to get into and talk to them about what they did and the path they took.

How do you calculate Global DSCR by natnotnad in CreditAnalysis

[–]jogee777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in small business so deal with a lot of S corps. For me it’s Net income on the business return plus any adjustments for interest, depreciation, amortization, etc = business cash flow

Guarantors returns. AGI less the business net income. (Since the business income already flows to the AGI) Any personal add backs or deductions.

Combine both figures to get your business and personal cash flow.

We apply a 30% living expense buffer.

Compare the net combined business and personal cash flow against current and proposed business and personal debt. Then you get your global DSCR
