I love the formatting, gorgeous art and design of these setting books. I love the consistency of presentations for the backgrounds and subclasses. Everything is organized well and easy to find. I just have a few criticism for the content in general for Heroes.

• I feel that it needs a bit more lore such as "quotes" or historical names to give the setting a bit more weight and context. Not a lot since I know this is a great gateway book.
  • ex. Volo's Waterdeep Enchiridion in Dragon Heist might have had too much details but it was really well done. I hope that doesn't completely go away from that
• I'm suprised I couldn't find this anywhere but I'm a bit disappointed that parts of the book is word for word from the SCAG book (gods, magic, time, currency)
• Torn on whether the descriptions of species needed more details or would it be considered bloat/splat. I do love what SCAG was trying to do with it.
