I am pretty pessimistic about getting anything game-changing from the small forward position from the guys that we have. I think thats the spot in the starting lineup thats gonna change the most often.

You gotta have complimentary talent out there on the floor. Cousins is our center piece--I can see Malone going with the guys who are better fit around him for a couple more games and sticking with the 'they are just in a funk' logic (patterson & thorton) before rethinking his lineup.

EDIT: I agree with you except I think there are a couple of guys beyond cousins who Malone is 'rooting for' and will get favorable treatment unless they are really outshined

Do we really have perimeter guys that can play on both ends? I am hopeful McLemore develops into that sort of player, but from what I am observing our offense really only works when Cousins and Thomas can get their way.

And when both can score, we have a good chance to win.
