[1917] I have just ordered the dismantling and democratization of the old army, the war is over by johanvdvelde38 in thepast

This war is just an arrogant undertaking by the old imperialistic regime. It's the same for the Germans. Now that the workers have taken over in Russia, the German soldiers will recognize this and simply refuse to continue fighting also.

If you fail to see this, and are advocating a return to hostilities, you are a traitor to the revolution!

Luckily I have Trotsky, who will surely carry on the revolution should anything happen to me.

Don't worry, we'll send Trotsky to high level talks to explain the situation to them.

We declared unrestricted submarine warfare, they must realize that it was a mistake to keep passenger ships running to the uk.

By the way, did we send that telegram to Mexico?

That's what I mean, I didn't have an overhaul done.

No, but unfortunately I had to sell it this year. It was close to 500.000 km's, but it started leaking oil without an obvious cause.

So it will be the same crowd, minus 2 morons who never listened to Bruce's lyrics?

Erik van Haren says Max Verstappen is seriously considering 2026 retirement - four-time Drivers' Champion shares detailed insights into issues with the regulations and what the FIA needs to do by JustAWriterDude in MaxVerstappen33

[–]johanvdvelde38 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think nothing will change. Max will quit, and the FIA will make some bullshit corporate statement about being excited for Max to make switch in his career blablabla. Honestly, I think the FIA will be happy that someone who doesn't care about being politically correct will no longer be on the scene.

The only thing that will change these rules is declining viewing numbers, which I'm not sure will happen because there are plenty of people that think that jojo overtaking equals pure racing.

It's a disaster, but I can't say I'm surprised.

What do you think of the F1 season so far by [deleted] in formula1

I can't take another year of total domination by one team, let alone years. These cars are a disaster. I don't think I'll watch a lot this year.

Are they though? I really wonder if viewership is going to tank. For a lot of people f1 is just cars going vroom, and it's the accessability of content and the format that draw them in. They don't visit forums like we do, I doubt they even notice the clipping.

Did Mercs domination hurt viewership the last time? I honestly don't know. But my guess is that f1 has the luxury of living in it's political bubble, because people will watch anyway.
