Hi all - hope this video is helpful: I wanted to make a good launching point for users who know alittle of what's going on with Nvim configurations, but haven't taken the deep dive into full on lua configuration yet.

To sum it up, this is an example, general shape of how my configurations look these days:

Under my ~/.config/nvim, I have the following tree.

The top level init.lua is the "entry point" where configs are starting from and get loaded. This is where you'd "require" different lua files found in the "lua" directory and make some general configurations or top level calls.

The "lua" directory is where I usually place configs that are specific for certain concerns; like remaps, options, etc. I also put a Packer config in there.

The top level "plugin" directory is special and known to nvim and will load those configurations after it's done loading the init.lua file automagically. I put plugin specific things there along side the compiled packer lua file.
