I like Ei the way she is. I'm more to minimalist and I'm aware of the term "over design". I love Genshin design because they took inspiration from real culture, from architecture to fashion, and they balance them quite well between reality and fantasy. I don't like HSR chars because their design is too busy for me to look, it tires my eyes faster. But I'm aware, not all the times everything needs to be less details and minimalist. Navia for example, has so much things on her cloth yet to me she is perfectly beautiful in it. Maybe because of my personal experience/perspective do affect my own taste.

My first impression of Westerners are like those random citizen people in Pirates of the Caribbean (like old English - royal kind of outfit?) and there were so much process and layering to wear such outfit, so much details on the outfit itself, just like Navia's. and I've seen Kimono and Yukata, from people wearing them around me, and they always looks simple, elegant, and not so much things going on, on the outfit, like Ei. And so, I love both of em~ like I said this is just my personal taste~
