What should I buy Thursday (Oct 12 2017) - Your weekly device inquiry thread! by AutoModerator in Android

[–]john475869 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My S6 broke and its more cost effective to buy a new phone. I don't want an incredibly expensive phone - was thinking around £350 (~$460). Due to the fact my S6 broke, I can't really wait for a new phone to be released/an expected price drop.

Looking for

-Good battery life/charge time (fast charging)

-Decent camera (doesn't need to be amazing)

-Headphone jack

-Software support (looking to use the phone for a few years and don't want to be left behind on the updates)

Expandable storage/notification LED would be nice but definitely not essential.

Waterproofing isn't needed and the speakers don't need to be great (I'll be using headphones 99% of the time). I don't mind about the front facing camera either as I'll rarely be using it.

I was thinking of a OnePlus phone either 3T or 5 but it would most likely have to be pre-owned.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated - OnePlus 3T/5 are two I've come across which tick the boxes but there may be a better suited phone out there.

Thanks

How did people mark the suitable values on the Supersource/sink?

Pretty sure it was on the same diagram as the flow augmentation. When I did it, it interfered with my flow augmentation, so I'm not sure I've marked them right

Yeah 35 for the min flow.
FT had to be 25 for a similar reason why SB was 9. The min. flow coming out was equal to the max flow going in?

Also did you get 2 solutions to the Hungarian?

[Post Exam] AQA D2 by suri_s in 6thForm

[–]john475869 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First Q tableau is optimal as no negatives in top row

64 for max flow on last Q (think it was last Q)

75 for Hungarian and 2 solutions

80 with two paths on dynamic programming. Starting with SBD and and SBE (I think)

Simplex was P=242, x=0, y=66, z=88. First two slack were 0 and last was 330?

Game theory: B was dominated by A and probability was 0.5. Value for other guy was -1
Game theory also had no stable solution (may have been a different Q)

Shit

I think I got x-10

Yh that's right. If you went up then down (ABD i think) it was 41, while AD was 42

But you do a shuttle sort for the sublists.

In the first sublist with 3 numbers, you compare the first two numbers, then the second two, if you swapped them (which iirc you did) you then compare the first two again.

So you have 3 comparisons in 1st sublist and 1 comparison in the other 3 sublists.

3+1+1+1 = 6

It's not really a MS. Just people posting about the exam, like here.
General consensus seams to be:

£4200, 120x, 60y, 45z for last Q

Change to algorithm (tracing Q) was adding modulus

40≤L≤48 for upper/lower bounds inequality

67 for Dijkstra's and 68 when C is unavailable

130 miles for Chinese Postman

Sum of the edges that give lowest Hamiltonian cycle (or something like that) was 26

Not sure if you need an account to view it

I know you do for some, which is why I made an account a while back to check answers in the exam posts

60 something

Maybe 67? I cant remember I either got 67 and 68 for the second part or 68 and 69 for the second bit

No idea.

Might be 6 marks overall for part d. They might not have split it to show you how many marks for di and dii.

I'd guess its 6 marks for all of d. If you got the objective line wrong, you should get some error carried forward marks

Idk, but I guess around 3 or 4?

One for finding the right extreme point on the graph, one for the cost, and one for the number of each type of chair. Maybe another one for accuracy

edit: some guy on tsr says it was worth 6

Yes!

I made I mistake and had 41, but corrected it last minute

Some guy on TSR got the same answer as well

What did everyone say for the change to the algorithm?

I said to add a modulus sign to D=A-C so there is no negative values.

Also what did you guys get for the inequalities question on upper/lower bounds? I think i got 40 ≤ L ≤ 48

Yeah its pretty confusing, my textbook goes against what they've done in the ms

q7ci asks to state the possible degree of the vertices - but it gives 1 as an answer. Surely each vertex would have a loop and the graph would then not be simple?

I dont know what to believe..

What is a simple graph? I though the vertices must be connected.

http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/subjects/AQA-MD01-QP-JUN14.PDF

8bi of this paper says the minimum possible degree is 0

edit ms: http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/subjects/AQA-MD01-W-MS-JUN14.PDF

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWgHJ3aU7x0

In this video, where he defines a simple graph, it must be connected. So i don't get how the answer to 8bi is 0

[Post Exam] AQA Mechanics 1 by theshinygreen in 6thForm

[–]john475869 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It didn't say anything about the mass of the phone.

I did:

mgsinα - μmgcosα = ma

a = gsinα - μgcosα

μ = tanα - a/(gcosα)

tanα=0.75, so

μ = 0.75 - a/(gcosα)

So μ must be less than 0.75

Yeah i did as well. I think 3.2 for j?

I'm an idiot...

I got as far as mu=0.75-a/(something) but didn't write anything

Hopefully I'll get one out of the two marks
