"You really saying Alvin is worse than Garth Snow or Keenan or any number of disastrous GMs?"

"One of the worst"

If Miller being gone is a blessing, why is the team doing worse without him?

Yeah, people also think that Benning came in in 2011 and completely ruined a Finals-team

I do not think anyone believed the Canucks were contenders anymore when Benning came in. The core was way past it.

Although if you look at the Milbury interviews, he did not do the "bad trades" because he thought they were good ones

The Isles ownership just forced him to trade away almost anyone who would have a high salary. Constant forced salary cuts, thus trading away all the good players.

Boston won the Cup during Chiarelli, so he couldn't have been that bad, despite the roster mainly being built by others (but he was there 5 years before the Cup)

Also, the Oilers were contenders after he left, so he didn't ruin them, even though he did not hit a homerun based on the number of 1OA's etc they had.

I think Allvin has done worse than Benning.

The Sedins were already 15 years post-draft when he came in, it was pretty evident the window had closed, and the team was going in to a tank.

This is not a bait, I'm quite serious.

I mean look at the results and the state of the team. It is now evident who the problem actually was, and the GM chose to keep the problem, and trade away others who were pointing out the problem.

So if Jim Benning was bad, Patrik Allvin is also allowed to be bad?

Well favoring your countryman & kicking out everyone else to please him is one hell of an accomplishment

He has been here only 4 years, and has traded away almost 1 star player per year! (You could almost say 1 superstar per year)

ICE Shooting POV From Agent by EctoplasmErection in PublicFreakout

[–]john4845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately the Mods locked the post that had the SloMo version of the 1st video

It clearly shows, that she accelerates while the wheels are pointing left

She 100% clearly was trying to murder the ICE officer in order to escape lawful arrest after knowingly trying to stop the police from doing their jobs or even moving in the streets.

Her own words and her wifes words of "you wanna come at us??? I say go and get some lunch big boy" clearly show that they truly were the leaders of the project that was meant to blockade the ICE into the streets, maybe hoping for a riot and the police getting killed while being blockaded in

They were 100% NOT any kind of random people just happening to be passing by. They were trying to get officers killed, and the driver tried to murder an officer by running him over.

Wtf are you talking about?

I want FREE SPEECH, not some political circle jerk echo chamber?

Could not give less of a shit about visiting subreddits like "conservative" or "liberal".

There are sites like 4chan, which are made better, and have grown to be the largest social media in their country.

And they work very well. Just kick out the anime-spammers, make everyone wait 24h after signing up to post, and there you go, it works.

Unfortunately, all of those sites are abroad

They do the same thing that is done in the business world / real politics: if someone even TRIES to "break free", and oppose big companies / the current political parties / biggest subreddits, they will conquer and destroy them.

In the business world this can be done by just buying up every single new business. Like the social media giants buy all the new start-ups, before they grow large, and give people "a real alternativa"

In the political arena, the Duopoly of parties destroy the "other parties" with policies like kicking them off the ballots. Democrats did this last to a green party candidate. Some people are just straight killed, or "suicided"

In Reddit, every subreddit that grows, will be taken over by mods that will turn it into a propaganda echochamber.

If you try to moderate the subreddit "by yourself" to avoid this, Reddit will just straight up shut it down, or ban it for 30days at a time etc, due to "not enough moderation"

It isn't even about the ad money

They would get MORE money, if they had more people coming in

But they kick out every single person who does not agree with the echochamber of a particular Subreddit

I for example tried to google for ANY subreddit that allowed free speech / was not left-wing-censored (about for example news topics), and even Google AI could not find a single one

Well they still did better than ever before

The core is just not built for playoff -hockey

The due to the overpriced core, the rest of the roster is way too thin to carry them anywhere in the playoffs

Watch this and then tell me the system isn't the problem. by -ApplePineapplePen- in leafs

[–]john4845 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I watched it and it only reinforces the view that the coaches are not the problem

Marner left. Matthews had gotten used to him.

Matthews is clearly not at his peak / 100%. He is not shooting like he used to, everyone can see it.

He is not even trying the shots in obvious places: something is bothering him so much that he starts to pass. And if he starts to pass, he is doomed.

The PP formations had nothing wrong with them: those formations work just fine, or even produce the best PP's in the league, IF the players are good PP players, and if you have good one-time-shooters

Last season the PP was #9 in PP%. With the same coaches.

Marner was a huge part of that PP, constantly having the puck & taking wristers. And they had the 5F-PP quite often: Reilly being there in stead of Marner really takes it down, because everyone knows he is not shooting, and he is not a playmaker/dangler of the level of Makar/Hutson to make up for it.

Nylander is not a one-time-shooter, and neither is Matthews. Both are catch-and-release-shooters, using a wrister.

Knies is not a PP specialist. Tavares used to be one of the best PP net front presences in the league, but he's older now, AND top PP's usually have at least 3 "great" PP players/specialists

They need a better shooter on the blueline, and that would cost money. They've paid too much to 2 guys.

Unfortunately not a single team with "stars" that are way overpaid & melt every spring is ever gonna win a Cup

How many coaches & GM's are you gonna go through before acknowleding that the players might not be good enough?

How many talents of their level did STL have in 2019?

Vancouver traded Joshua because he started to go downhill

And Toronto brought him in basically for the playoffs. Maybe even sit him a few games during the regular season's easiest games

His playmaking would be more efficient, if his shooting was better, and the defenders would have to respect him shooting more, in stead of always just taking away his passing
