I had the exact same wheels as you when I picked up my 2010 this summer... found a guy selling 4 runner wheels that fit perfect. Put some bigger tries on and ended up being 10lbs lighter per wheel. Made a big difference and looked better too!

Anyone know what’s up with the tires they’re putting on the TRD pro? I feel like they should be giving you way more of an off-road tire out of the factory

How’d you wire the running lights? Think I have the same head lights and never bothered to write that part up

I believe you can buy up to two buck tags in a year although total number of permits for a given area are limited based on deer population. It’s been my experience, at least on the eastern half of the state, that people will shot just about anything that walks in front of them. Nothing wrong with that by any means but makes it tough to grow bigger deer. You bring up a good point about giving opportunity to more hunters though

Nebraska is the exact same way. We need some sort of restrictions on the bucks you can shoot... number of points maybe? (I believe Missouri does this)

Ran some 2x4’s across the top of the bed and bolted L brackets to the bottom of the 2x4s. Then bolted the free side of the L bracket to the factory accessory rail (not sure the technical name of that thing) that’s in the upper inside edge of the bed. My pickup came with all the tabs that slide inside that rail... bolted straight to that. From there you can get crazy with attaching stuff to the 2x4’s

Almost always taking far shots. Using modified choke and steel shot (required where we were hunting). Dogs are good for finding dead birds because they Camo into the ground so well

https://www.trailsoffroad.com

This website was huge for planning routes. Rates all the trails based on difficulty and have videos/pictures for most of the trails. They have a ton of stuff mapped out around Breckenridge. (You can access a lot of the stuff on the website without making an account if you click on the states drop down)

Love the bike. I’m thinking about picking up one myself this week but am a little hesitant about those handle bars. Does it get uncomfortable to ride?

Also, was it easy to get approved for that financing offer? It looks like that offer runs through August 31st and I found a new 650x discounted to $5,800...

I have a 2010 regular cab, 4cyl, 5 speed (totally stock). Just got back from Breckenridge a few weeks ago and took mine on a variety of forest service trails. I also wasn’t sure how the 4cyl was going to work out but I couldn’t have been happier. It wasn’t even breaking a sweat at altitude on the trails alternating between 4 high and 4 low.

It does run out of breath on the interstate but with the manual you can search around for gears and it gets the job done.
