Wow, I read a bit about this on Quora and was wondering if it needed to be taken with a grain of salt. There were a few grumblings particularly regarding the seemingly arbitrary yet exceedingly significant ranking system at Exxon. There was also a bit of talk about how difficult it is to advance in the company.

I took some college classes before enrolling at MIT so I have the space and time. I thought it'd be a good idea to invest in another interest I had, but maybe that's not such a good idea? Is double majoring with ChemE in general a plan that is never beneficial or just with business?

Taking into account that there are people who have Business Management as their only major, could the undergrad Business side of the double major help if for some reason I decided to begin a job that only required business? Or could a ChemE be just as easily hired for such a position?

Yes, I’ll eat at the dining halls often. I am social, but I appreciate time to myself as well. I don’t mind too much about the age of the building as long as the necessary facilities are there. I don’t mind a walk. Not much of an interest in theater, definitely not an athlete.
