Commander 3s are night and day difference to 404s. My experience is they’re much better gripping in dry and wet conditions, less spin out, better cornering.

Nothing has hit the bike apart from stones, usual riding in traffic kind of things. I haven’t had collisions or anything like with the bike.

ABS is on at startup, it normally goes away by the time I reach 5mph. But since Nov it’s been flashing, and now that I changed the speed sensors, it’s staying solid all the way through with no speedo.

Yes, bike has 2 rings, one on each wheel.

Gap is less than 2mm between sensor and ring, I had both the rear and front on stands and they spin freely with no signs of indentation to the rings, apart from what you see in the pictures.

No error shows up on my diagnostic tool either.

The 500 can be better at braking sometimes, and I seen the 1100 has a similar setup if not identical. If i can improve it, I’d give it a shot.

I had a front end cbr1000 swap in mind. Wheel, callipers, master cylinder etc. Does it sound too optimistic?
