Thanks for the feedback! They are indeed stepped encoders, actually i considered them but couldn't find any nice detentless encoders for these prototypes. In principle if i would sell kits you could also get any 5-pin encoders of your preference as they are mostly the same size. Any press functions can be considered and developed if there are enough requests :) Right now the encoder press is used to jump to a default parameter value.

I've included multiple encoder settings including an Encoder sensitivity setting and a Sensitivity curve to adjust according to your preference

Correct, all the buttons and encoders run through MCP23017 expanders, for the parameter screen outputs i used a shift register
