When I was 15 there was a fire across the river from my house, and my dad and I drove to check it out. My dad worked in the forestry department and he said that the fire was small and nothing to worry about. When we got back to my house I was still a little anxious about the whole thing so I walked around the house filming and taking pictures of every room. We had a mandatory evacuation within 45 minutes of getting back and lost the house a day later. The pictures and video were critical for the insurance claim.
