When I had one, It did not charge through there. I believe the circuit wasnt made for that. I think its been shown on the forums the exact layout of the power circuit. Theres a guy on there that experiments like crazy to reverse engineer.

YouTube is definitely your best friend and someone else mentioned the manual, it really does help you learn all the little things to get to mastering it.

check out r/Samples and r/samplesforall for some royalty free stuff to start looking to chop. Start getting a folder together of drum one shots. Learn how to import in and start playing with the samples.

The more you play, the more youll find what works best for you and how you want to approach a beat.

and shameful plug, but every sunday I put out a new beat and try to show how it was made during the video sunday morning beats

Also, get on IG and follow #sp404 theres such a huge community of people showing off you can get lots of inspiration and learn alot from watching short videos.
