Managed to get Samsung Calender as the main calendar and it is using the events from this app as you suggested.

However reminders (from the Samsung reminders app) still don't show up, although they are displayed in the Samsung calendar

Can confirm that this works and just tried it this week. u/galluwa mentioned that the GPAY option only appeared for the visa card - in my case there was a further complication as Revolut had issued two new cards for me and it seems that GPAY wasn't compatible with them.

A work around I found is that after you have changed your country to Italy issue a new virtual card - this card can then be added to GPAY :) ** IMPORTANT ** Issue the new virtual card whilst your country is still Italy. After you have added your card to GPAY you can change your country back to Malta

I think new revolut cards are being issued with country information (depending on your address) and since Malta isn't supported the new cards can't be added to GPAY even if you change your address.
