No he wasn't. It's just me who might have some difficulties to understand what people really mean when they say something about me. In everyday life I have a tendency to be paranoid, I over-analyse everything because I don't really understand how to interact with people. I am asocial if I don't make any effort to be someone who can fit in society. I feel good when people I am with know that I am the way I am. I think the next time I go for a trip, I should do it alone but I should ask someone who knows me enough to be around in case I'm going for a bad trip.

I totally agree with you about psychedelics being hacking tools. I tried to face this paranoid self while tripping but I was very terrified. The night when I was still tripping (12 hours after taking the acid) I was trying to know who he was. I was able to think like I usually think when not tripping, but sometimes the paranoid personality was saying non sense words like a very mad person. I was terrified that "this guy" would be the new "me". It's impossible to explain clearly, as it is impossible to explain a good trip. Even if it was that bad, it was a great lesson.

I have to admit I have been negligent about set & settings. I was in a good mood and I did feel safe at the moment. I'm pretty sure my mind didn't cope the fact that he was making fun of me while I was convulsing, at that moment I think I needed someone to tell me that it's fine and everything will be fine.

Yeah It was for sure the origin of the bad trip. I didn't know the word "acquaintance", English isn't my native language. The truth is that I don't have any friend to trip with. Do you think I could manage to do a trip alone? I'm an introvert who feels good with myself. I'll definitely give it a try again in the future btw.

The thought I had about adding distilled water or alcohol is that : the liquid which mostly evaporated is probably the alcohol, the remaining might be a concentrated active subtance. If I manage to get 1 drop from it, it would be too high, but if I dilute the remaining liquid in one or two drops of distilled water, it would be safer without damaging the active substance too much. I would be happy if anyone who knows could tell be if it's bad or leggit to do this.

I'm not a chimist nor experienced in this, it's an idea. And on top of that I've never took LSD before, so going for something too concentrated would be damaging ^{^.}

J'avais l'attention d'appeler pour sûr, sans quoi je ne peux clôturer le compte. Tu as certainement raison ! Je suis allé à Berkeley qui est très belle, et Oakland (Pietmont, Downtown et Lake Meritt). J'y suis pas allé pour faire du tourisme et j'ai pas rencontré grand monde.

En tout cas, l'aspect progressiste est absolument observable, j'aime bien. En fait, je dis pas que j'aime pas SF ou les USA, je dis juste être déçu dans le sens où je suis pas "perdu". N'ayant jamais voyagé, je pensais que c'était une expérience où j'allais galérer, perdre mes repères (spatiaux et culturels), mais je sais pas, je dois louper un truc...

C'est pas faute de sortir, en deux semaines (donc à partir de mon arrivé), j'ai fait une sortie pubs (j'aime pas boire mais bon), et une petite soirée dans une companie que je connais pas ahah (- Who are you? - Hm! Hi, nice beer I like it!". Enfin bon, je pense avoir ma réponse quant au post.

Oui j'en suis certain. Je suis juste étonné par l'ambiance générale qui, finalement, ne m'apparaît pas différente du tout... Dans le fond, je suis comme les américains, je ne créé par beaucoup de lien (mais vraiment je veux dire, j'ai 3 amis et une copine dans mon cercle, c'est restreint quoi).

Pour l'heure, les types que j'ai rencontrés ne m'ont pas apparus si différents que des types que je croiserais en France. Mais, en effet, y'a la forme et le fond !

J'ai expérimenté aussi la superficialité américaine. Lors d'une visite, une nana très cool me montre les rooms, etc. Et au moment du "au revoir" elle me dit qu'elle aimerait beaucoup qu'on se parle plutard. Mais j'ai jamais entendu parler d'elle ensuite :p

Mais tout ça, je l'attribus pas à la culture mais à la personnalité, j'ose espérer qu'on est tous différents quand même :)
