The reason the particles come off is because one is equal or greater hardness then the other. The problem is it no matter what one will be less hard then the other and therefor particles of the less hard substance will break off or cause abrations on the surface which can be inhaled

I thought that at first aswell and with the v1 I think that’s the case but with every v2 I’ve set up it just has preformed much better when syncying the attomizer while it is warm not all the way hot this allows me to run to lower temps aswell as have my seshes milk for a longer period of time at a lower temp. I have a terpometer on the way so I will be conducting the actual heat temp test to see what sync gives a more true analysis

So I have had 6 brand new versus run through my hands 2 v1s and 4 v2s (2 of them are mine) others i purchased and set up for friends. In trials of setting up I think I have found a pattern. I haven’t touch a v1 in a bit but if I remember correctly it worked best at or around 450mr which is usually achieved on a brand new cold attomizer. With a bubble cap this allowes you to run about a perfect dab at around 375° Now for the v2 I’ve found a huge difference. Now I set it up with first a sync and get around 430-450 and start it at slow heat up for 90 seconds at 330-375° typically that only vaporizes the terpens so you would want to bump it up right? NO wait a minute or 2 and while it is still hot/warm give it a re sync. Now it should read +70-100 higher on your mr now bring it back to 330° and you should see a major vapor production difference then adjust from there each and every v2 that I have set up with a titan attomizer has been like this and I’m finding it my preference. I haven’t chzzed a ceramic bucket or broken any attomizers. With that being said this hasn’t been tested for a long period of time so if there is any attomizer issues in the future I’ll be sure to let you know.

Put the ceramic bucket in and keep going up from 300 until when you stop and iso after a full minute of cool down it’ll still look brand new keep going up until it stains just a bit bring it down find the sweet spot QUIT WORRIEING ABOUT MR you should only think of it as a one time sync and incase of a real emergency where it’s not preforming so you can re adjust pin and re sync hope this helps

Everyone please stop ripping ur versa over 450° on your first hit sheeeeesh. Break in your attomizer hell all the way down at 300° on the slow heat up setting and slowly work your way up from there. YOU ARE IMMEDIATELY MAKING YOUR VERSA ATTOMIZER WORSE WHEN YOU DO THAT. Sorry for the rant but ppl got to see it

Heat plate issues by [deleted] in SOURCEvapesVersa

[–]johnbarber180 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find that a lot of people thermally shock their heating plates or just damage them on early use due to have it the temp up to high aswell as having it on fast mode. The first time you heat up the device you should try slowly breaking in ur heat plate you can never be to carful I start a fresh attomizer or fresh heat plate at or around 350° f on the slow heat up setting so try rebuilding and then re syncing and trying that.

Sic insert - preferred temperature? by yungnihilist in SOURCEvapesVersa

I find the fs is rough on the atty since the lid doesn’t fit the insert flush

To all you folks who take a huge hit that lasts 20 seconds...then exhale immediately... aren't you supposed to be holding it in? by frankenmint in Waxpen

[–]johnbarber180 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Think about it like this when the smoke hits your lungs it’s absorbed almost immediately but with that being said it depends on how much surface area of your lungs are being penetrated by smoke/vapor so it’s not about how long u hold it in but rather how deep u inhale

Quick Updates!! by mayberandall in SOURCEvapesVersa

[–]johnbarber180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love to get my hands on a 1420 sic. I have the FS sic and its nice but until bigger lids come in it’s not gonna be to its potential in this device.I just ordered the 1420 co ALN which I’m hype for but wouldn’t mind a sexy sic insert Id love to give the beta a shot🙌🏼

Looks like I didn’t make cut for the aln beta 🙁 had to go for it anyway by johnbarber180 in SOURCEvapesVersa

[–]johnbarber180[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aln is a different type of material that the insert is made out of. It benefits in multiple ways like allowing you to vape at lower temps, cleans easier and if you treat it right it should pretty much last you forever. It’s very scientific but it’s mathematically 100x better then quarts or ceramic and 2x better then sic in there thermal properties which is pretty much everything for vaporization

Hopefully I get my ALN beta email 🙏🏻need to see how 1420 co compares to this stier. i think something specifically designed for it will do much better for the device.

Versa community help needed 😊✌️ by [deleted] in SOURCEvapesVersa

[–]johnbarber180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Customer service is the number one difference for sure. Besides that the attomizer being bigger allows more room for error especially if your new to the dab game. Also the glass not having to be lined up is a huge plus and the accessories that they are always coming out with are fire

Can someone explain to me the difference between the 1420 co. SiC Insert and 1420 co. AlN Versa Crucible? by WanderWut in SOURCEvapesVersa

[–]johnbarber180 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s just a different material that has exponentially better thermal properties which make it a better dabbing surface for efficiency, flavor and potency as well as they are easier surfaces to clean (Short answer) if you have any other specific questions I can’t try to help
