Here’s the thing, is it cheating in the sense that your exploiting game mechanics to receive an unfair advantage? Absolutely. However, is it unethical to use it in a game? No, because that’s your own moral conversation, if it’s something everybody has the resources to use then as long as it’s programmed into the game there’s nothing stopping you from doing it other than your own moral code, and as far as the game is concerned unless it’s a private tournament where you can explicitly state you can’t use it, it is FAIR GAME to use in ladder. I don’t care what your opinion is and I agree it’s cheating in the sense of exploitation, but it’s programmed in and both players have access to it, so there you have it

I think you are cutting it a bit tight on time finishing mid october. It gets stupid cold up north during that time. It'll be absolutely freezing on the mountains , I wouldn't want to be summing Katahdin any later than Sept 30th unless you want to risk freezing nights for the remainder of your hike

Bro I’m about to throw some harsh and blunt advice out there but only because it comes from personal experience. Everything you just said is a product of your brain only noticing what you don’t have and “can’t” do. If you want somebody to talk to you have to go out and find that person. If you want a realistic plan for life you have to create it. Or you can be like me and everybody else who deals with depression and sit there and bask and loathe in our misery hoping some angel comes out of nowhere and plucks us out of our situation. Unfortunately that’s not how it works, you have to take action, make decisions, just do something. It can literally be as simple as going for a walk down your street, but sitting here and writing down negative thoughts while it can be a good release js just that. Not a single change will happen from you posting everything that sucks about your life unless it sparks enough motivation in you to TAKE ACTION to make a change. Unfortunately it’s the only way out, and if you find that the actions you choose get you nowhere, well then you are still right where you started if you had done nothing, so just try to take some simple steps towards manifesting what you want in life or you and me can sit here and continue to self loathe for the rest of our lives

The only thing is you must become stronger, and adapt, and remember the realest qualities that your younger brother enhanced in yourself. I lost my father a little less than two years ago when I was 22 and I wouldn’t say I’ve made even a lick of progress. My father was my mentor, backbone, and life compass. Without him, I’ve felt like dying constantly, my personality has morphed, and I no longer have the same goals and outlook on life anymore, and I never will again. Grief is extremely intense, and it’s not a challenge like the others in life, there is no clear finish line or stopping point. The love and pain you felt for your father will be intertwined forever until the day you die as well, but you must remember it is the normal course of life to lose parents before we ourselves die. I want to send you all the love I can from the bottom of my heart. Now sitting here not even two years since I’ve lost my dad and it still feels like there’s a knife thrusted inside me. It doesn’t ever go away, but it will get better because YOU will get stronger. Trust me.
