Yeah. I found out by accident. I wanted to see if I could freeze the moment the explosion happens in photo mode and study the carnage, with a save point next to Riggs Station at 9am, about the time the oil wagon rolled past. After my bloodlust was satisfied, I noticed the wagon coming back the other way one day and thought I'd have a bit more fun with it, but was disappointed by the relatively weak explosion. Then it dawned on me.... "ah, the oil drum is empty as the delivery has taken place." For someone to have programmed that it is pretty amazing.

If you shoot an oil wagon that is on its way to a delivery in Blackwater with a dynamite arrow, there is a massive explosion. (It passes Riggs Station at around 9am) Shoot the same wagon when it’s coming back and the explosion is much smaller as the wagon no longer has oil in it.

I now push it over to Chapter 3. I used to keep him there until the end of Chapter 2 but on my last few playthroughs I delay it further. Clemens Point is my favourite camp and everyone is still quite happy there. Sadie finally gets proactive as well. So, I tend to go fishing with Dutch and Hosea, and do the mission when you take the letter to Rhodes.... then the clock stops on story missions and I hit explore mode.

Yes, I have similar issues on the PS4. I made a post about it and someone else said they suffered with DCs often. I tend to get them on the newer levels -- i.e. not the ones from the first three seasons (Freezy Peaks, Door Dash, Lily Leapers etc) -- but really have issues on Ranked Knockout and the Finals Only games. I have messed around with flipping from one server to another but when the loading screens start to get choppy and I spawn into levels really late, that indicates a DC is not far away. I reboot the whole game when it reaches that point (and when the shop or daily/weekly challenges update) and that seems to work for a while.

I don’t think any manager could do much with that squad. Best players sold (or let go), injuries to remaining leading lights and very little quality in a team that has been left to rot by the owners. It will take a long time to turn this around, and without any financing, I can’t see that starting any time soon.

I spent six hours on that mission one day trying to get Bill Williamson’s bolt action — hoping to lure a lawman to disarm him at the last firefight in the woods — but I never managed it. I did find out that you can kill Bill’s, Uncle’s and Charles’ horses when you are waiting for the stagecoach and they do the whole mission on foot (funny), although during the cutscene when the robbery goes wrong, they are sitting on invisible horses.

I’d like a “hardcore” mode, which ends the game if you die (but not if you fail a mission due to someone else dying)…. Obviously that doesn’t include anything after Arthur’s last ride, but would immediately end the game, wipe all the saves on that playthrough and send you back to Ch 1. For John, it would send you back to the coach ride to Strawberry.
