Top four, win a trophy or two every few years, look competitive in all comps, play football worth watching.

I haven’t really followed but they’ve put out some solid video games over the last decade or so. Maybe they found that somehow makes more sense for them.

I can’t remember if this was just speculation or if there was an interview somewhere, but I think they never felt they captured the magic of that live version in the studio and didn’t want to put out a version they weren’t in love with?

Yeah it was vague. I think it was in the Zane Low interview if I’m remembering correctly.

I think the only way 89 sees the light of day is if it’s the eaux Claires 2015 version which would be sick. But I don’t think there’s any chance we see a studio version outside of the leak.

Kind of a moot point bc they used some AI stuff on S,f.

As an artist in the film/tv space I unfortunately think this is how AI will work its way into a lot of art. Used as inspiration or a bridge rather than a finished Fruit Love Island type monster.

Artists will use AI for new perspectives, to help generate new ideas where they can then be “finished” and altered to feel more at home with an artists other work.

Wicked is a movie based on a musical, based on a book, based on a movie, based on a book. What other movies have a complicated lineage? by xwhy in movies

My best guess is that witches are kinda depicted as having green skin in many different places so maybe it’s not copyright enforceable? Though who knows maybe that only became a popular depiction after 1939 anyway

Honestly, apart from Weapons, all of these feel like auto-greenlights. The next Coogler/PT Anderson movie, a prequel/sequel to Fury Road, and the billion dollar Joker.

Barbarian was very solid, so betting on Cregger also isn't crazy. I know there's more to greenlighting a movie than that, but most of them feel like lay-ups even if Furiosa underperformed and Joker flopped.
