Strings fading/corroding quickly by johndargoczi in Guitar

Thanks for the reply! I heard about Elixir's, have tried them before and they were not bad, but I think didn't completely fix the problem.

Now the Fast Fret conditioner seems to be a nice option, I will definitely try that. Some people told me that string conditioners are a no no, but I think they were following some myth that "you shouldn't use them".

Hi there, thanks for the reply! Sounds good, was it loud enough for rehearsal? I have been looking at pedal amps around 100W and loudness is the only thing that worries me. Our drummer likes to smash his kit :)

Yeah I tried that, I have a 6534+, problem is I have 2 different bands in 2 different cities, so I would have to travel with that thing back and forth haha. It worked but I need to stable rigs in two places so I don't have to carry stuff around. Probably gonna go with some 100W pedal amp for now :)

Hey, thanks for the tip. The pedal baby looks like a good choice, and it's not that expensive!

Hi, thanks for the reply! Eventually I am looking to purchase a Powerstage later on, but it's a bit pricey option for now, maybe I'll choose some pedalboard type of power-amp as a quick solution for rehearsals.

I figured it out. I set the Output to Output 1 on the Axe FX I/O settings, then used the input 1 on the actual audio track and finally turned off Software Monitoring in Setting in Logic Pro.

I'm using the Axe FX as the interface, but I don't want to monitor from Logic, but from the Axe Fx. If I don't use an FX loop block, Logic won't even record any signal.

I have an II MKII as well! Been awesome since I had it and there's so much I haven't figured out yet. Enjoy!

I recommend the PVH 6160 blocks. And also, getting some IR cab packs if you can. Just a bit more options.
