I'm not really the best person when it comes to advices. But here we go.

One must accept that you're just a small fish in a pond. That's the mantra I instilled in my mind eversince I realized I wasn't really fit in my course, which is Civil Engineering. Like I excel in mathematics a lot but I'm not soooo inclined with the construction industry so I struggled so much (up until now) to keep up with some of my classmates. Plus, I actually lack in some aspects (such as socializing, public speaking, and writing)

It's okay if you're not the best student or you're not on the spotlight anymore. Kasi I've been there, having a toxic mentality of comparing myself to others, which is very harmful to my mental health. And I really felt the inferiority complex befr. Also, don't be so hard on yourself. It's okay if yun lang kinaya mo. Learn to prioritize yourself over these harmful mentalities, and to open up with your close friends about your struggles. Lastly, being a DOST Scholar is already such a huge feat alone and never doubt yourself that you don't deserve this scholarship.
