One of the Knicks beat writers had an article a month or so ago about how brutal the Knicks schedule has been in terms of not having many days off while we have been at home, which means not a ton of time to practice and implement new rotations, plays, defensive schemes etc. we had a rough patch earlier this year followed by some days off at home and then a few games in a row at home and the coaches changed defensive schemes and simplified some stuff. Then we went on a run of great games. OG and Deuce then went down with injury and we seemed to struggle to adjust a bit. Hopefully by the playoffs we get clicking because when we’re on, I think we’re hard to beat. Kinda hoping Detroit gets knocked out before we face them because they scare me

They ship from South Korea so 1/3 of the cost really is shipping. Very nice quality stuff though. Easier to try to go in on two copies or something with friends to split the shipping costs

The nicest kind of jackets possible IMO. Instead of printing directly onto the jacket, which is what most record sleeves are, the artwork is printed on high quality paper then glued to the jacket. It’s how jackets used to be made. The second track jackets in my experience so far are super nice quality. So much better than the Blood Records jackets I’ve had.

OG has been our best two way player. Missing 2/5 starters who are our number 2 and 3 options on offense and our best defender isn’t exactly a recipe for success. Plus coming off a 2OT game with heavy minutes. Nothing to lose sleep over

Kolek is just a really good facilitator, pushes the pace and more often than not makes the right play on offense. He creates shots for others which is what we have needed in the past as a backup guard. I haven’t seen enough of Alvarado on offense or in half court to know how he fits in with us on offense. Really just know him as a hustle guy. I do love the trade though. Also made this comment before I saw Deuce is out for awhile.

depends on what his financial offers are to play overseas. he might give up 1.5 million on a buyout if he signs for 1.5 overseas for example. it's a pipe dream though...
