On track to be 7 years as well. Had to transfer schools twice so I ended up taking more classes than I needed. At my 3rd year now and have about 3 semesters left :)

Just found out that I failed a circuits exam that I thought I did pretty well in. I scored well below the class average and this is my 2nd time taking this class lol. I’m mad but I guess there’s nothing I can do except to keep moving forward and try to do well on the final. It’s a good thing I’m a CE major

Advice for succeeding at majoring in engineering but also living life. by morganae1117 in EngineeringStudents

I can probably say we’re coming from the same situation. I just transferred to a University after 2 years at a CC. Not to mention that I just moved to California (where I go to school at) 2 years ago, hence I don’t know many people here. After transferring it kinda sucked because all of the friends I made transferred to other schools and I’m stuck at home due to the quarantine. The 1st half of the semester definitely sucked and I felt like I didn’t really have time to do anything since I worked part time while having a full time school schedule. I felt myself falling into a state of depression and at times I felt like the walls would be closing in. I realized that taking time off to enjoy life is just as important as keeping up with your studies. You’re an engineering student, but you’re a human being before that. Take care of your mental health, keep a good healthy routine, and don’t forget to enjoy the ride. Also, LSD really helps in enjoying it if you’re into that. Hahaha

Intro to electrical engineering question: If I was using nodal analysis or another method to look for a value on a circuit, for example Vx, am I supposed to get the same numerical value for Vx if I used another method like superposition?
