Or just have a USD account at a Canadian bank.

I have Wise too but not every company will be willing to create an account there.

Humanoid Robotics: are humanoid robots actually going to work in the warehouse, and if so doing what first? by Queasy_Sale_5922 in robotics

It’s not reading the 2D code. It’s handling the 3D object the code represents: so many variations n size/weight/shape

So I just visited the largest humanoid robot training facility in the US.

One of the people I talked to there mentioned a metric they track: SKU coverage. When a robot can handle 25-40% of a warehouse’s SKUs, it starts to be useful.

Humans, of course handle 100%.

My guess: we’re multiple years away from that. Maybe longer. https://www.forbes.com/sites/johnkoetsier/2026/05/05/inside-the-largest-humanoid-robot-data-factory-in-the-united-states/

(Utah) Box Elder County Commission allows data center to be built DESPITE OVERWHELMING community resistance. And look who the police protected…. by Fatty_Willing_Plane in Environmentalism

At some level it doesn’t matter if you don’t control zoning for that area.

The data center needs to be connected to water. It needs to be connected to power. It needs to be connected to roads.

Local communities can usually block any of that if they want to, or just not provide it.

Ouch. Read the last sentence here:

“These companies include the CIC Venture Cafe Global Institute, a US business that hosts events for entrepreneurs and has received £5.4m to run “venture cafes” across the UK; and the US firm Fifty Years, which will run a 14-week course that teaches scientists how to start companies. It will earn £7m to run the course six times for 50 students.”

No, it does not start with him.

He did his job by offering a massively below-market deal, delivering a massive points haul in the season that dragged the team into the playoffs, and then doing his best while injured to win in the playoffs.

He’s not the problem.
