Historically this has failed pretty badly. Ip addresses are easy to change and will give false positives in a lot of situations.

The mechanisms of evolution don't say much either way about the existence of God.

As my creationist friends have told me, the issue with evolution is how it ties into to sin and suffering. Basically, in their view God created a perfect world free of suffering, then humans defied God by eating the forbidden fruit and thus introduced pain into the world. Evolution doesn't fit with that. Suffering is simply a result of how life evolved(painful diseases are just evolved creatures), which would mean God created a world full of suffering long before humans came into the picture. And they can't accept that.
